I'm a 36-year-old self-taught artist who's been painting, drawing, sculpting and doing murals for over 25 years! Art is my life's work. I dedicate almost all of my time to craft something on a blank piece of paper, a blank canvas or giving life to an empty wall.

Drawing became an escape from a difficult childhood, offering safety when my father struggled with alcoholism. Despite his drinking, he was a talented artist known for incredibly detailed drawings of classic cars that looked almost photographic, his talent was inherited by me.

Why am I dedicated to painting?

My dedication comes from seeing results that I was progressing in my art that started as a coping mechanism. When I was young, I kept getting deluged by complaints on how talented I was at drawing.

That gave me the drive to draw no matter what anyone says about how it’s not a real career and that it won’t get me anywhere in life. To truly love something is to hold on, not to let go at the whim of others.
